President’s Welcome for RCES website

I am honoured to be selected as the new President of Rotary Club Eastern Seaboard, one of the most active clubs in Pattaya. It is an English speaking multinational club with members from Thailand, Holland, Switzerland, Germany, England, Scotland, Australia, Denmark, Loa and other part of the globe, working together to help others.

I have a great team of Past Presidents and very willing and active members who raise funds and help at all the events, an excellent board of directors and last but not least, District Governor Onanong Siripornmanut who has supported me from day one.

Our projects, like Water for Life 24/7, with the help of Global Grants to provide clean drinking water to many schools and families in villages where the water is not safe. Community Care projects locally here in Pattaya helping the poor folks in the slums with clean water, walking aids for the old, children day care etc. Schools and Sanitation projects here and in Lao building and repairing schools. Christmas Bags for children, Wrap up a Child and lots more, these are just a few.

Past President Rodney is going to be a hard act to follow but I will do my up most to be a good ambassador for Rotary and to keep our club in the forefront with our motto “Beyond Frontiers” and the RI motto “Rotary Making a Difference”.

If you wish to participate in our dedicated work, please join us as a FORCES member (see the separate web page) or become a Rotarian.  You are most welcome to attend our meetings and keep in touch with us.  The meeting is in English. Our members speak Dutch, English, French, German, Italian, Thai, Laotian, Austrian, Swiss-German and other languages.  We encourage visiting Rotarians to attend our meetings.

Please don’t hesitate to contact us by E-mail or participate in our weekly evening meeting every Thursday arriving at 5:30pm for a 6:00 pm start.  or
